How To Rock the Nail Crack Polish

Nail art is a great way to spice up your regular nail polish. To have a great nail art outcome, you must be expert in it or you can just go to the nail salon. However, there’s one great type of nail polish that looks as awesome as a nail art but not as difficult to do yourself. It’s called Nail Crack Polish. It involves a few steps but is definitely easy and fun to do.

STEP 1
Clean up your hand and toe nails. If you’re not used to doing regular mani/pedi, here’s how. Prepare a cuticle remover (the pink liquid), nail cutter, cuticle pusher, nail pile, nail brush and water spray. Brush your nails with soap and water and then brush it with the cuticle remover. Put a drop of cuticle remover on each finger nail and the gently push the nails with the nail pusher. Be sure to gently clean the sides using the nail pusher as well. Trim your nails and pile it. Spray water in it and clear debris using the nail brush.

STEP 2
Apply two coats of plain white nail polish as the base coat. Let it dry for a few minutes.

STEP 3
After the white base dries up, swipe a single coat of the red rock nail polish. In applying the crack nail polish, dip the applicator for a generous amount of polish and then make a swipe or two, just enough to fully cover the nail. This type of nail polish dries and cracks quickly.

STEP 4
In just seconds, the rock nail polish will dry up. After that, apply a glittery colorless polish.

STEP 5
The last step is applying a plain and colorless polish for shine and protection so that the glitters won’t chip off.
See, it’s so easy to do. You don’t even have to be a nail expert to pull this off ‘cause minor damages in your polish application will look like a part of the design. So go ahead, try it and have fun!
